Frankford Plains United Methodist Church is one of the oldest, continuously active congregation in Sussex County and in the Greater New Jersey annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. It experienced the preaching of many early Methodist Circuit riders, including Bishop Francis Asbury. It has served the spiritual needs of the community and actively nurtured lay and ordained ministry for over three centuries. We are a United Methodist Historic Site and invite you to come visit us!
We are passionate about children, youth, and family ministry at Frankford Plains UMC. We have a growing, vibrant Sunday School and host programs throughout the year for children and youth. Our Vacation Bible School has been held for a week every summer for over 50 years, and we enjoy reaching out into the community to teach children about God.
We are passionate about mission. We support Manna House, the Branchville UMC Food Pantry, partner with local schools, fill shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child and more.
We are passionate about our community. We have bible studies and small groups throughout the year. We have an active United Methodist Women. Worship is vibrant and at 10AM on Sunday mornings. Come as you are, and be a part of our warm, welcoming community!
